9/11 New York City
A date that we will never forget, everyone knows exactly where they were and what they were doing on this date seven years ago. A cowardly act by terrorist to strike fear into the citizens of the United States and countries all over the world. However till this day we stay strong and united and on September 11 of each year we take the day to remember the fallen heroes and family members that were affected by this event. New York City displays an amazing set of lights that shoot straight into the air on this date to give us a warm feeling and a sense that in some way the world trade center still stands tall. This set of lights is visible from space and is located about 2 blocks south of ground zero. I took this picture around 10:30PM on the day of 9/11/2008.
